A procedural endless dungeon crawl made for LIMINAL HORROR by Goblin Archives.
Take on the role of a shopper trapped in the biggest big box store of all times, somewhere outside of reality. Fight mimics that resemble cheap furniture but pack quite a bite. Encounter mysterious mannequins who seek to pass for human, and also other shoppers who can be friendly or extremely hostile depending on what they have experienced.
About Trapped in an Endless i-kräla:
This modern horror dungeon kräla will have you thinking of liminal places, impossible spaces and back rooms galore. It can be run as an action packed one shot or as a slow and methodical survival simulator taking into account food, stress and long term injuries.
Features:
- While it is designed for LIMINAL HORROR it can run well with any modern horror game system such as Esoteric Enterprises, Cairn, Tunnel Goons, Mothership, D20 Modern, etc.
- 11 encounter tables with adding 110 unique scenes you can stumble upon while exploring the store.
- New Fallouts for Liminal Horror where the store starts to rub off on your players giving them modular furniture limbs or mannequin like features. Who will survive and what will be left of them?
- New Cairn inspired injury system that will temporarily hinder your character but will make them come back stronger once they heal.
- A more complex Reaction Table usable for any OSR game with a huge number of dispossitions.
- Easy to use infographics explaining some core Liminal Horror concepts making it a great first module to run or you can adapt those systems to any OSR adjacent system you wish.
- Mayan mythology meets modern horror as the story unfolds via encounters, handouts and in game clues.
