You’re on a pleasure barge sailing through the cosmic void, traveling from Sphere to Sphere, when a terrible rending echoes against the barge’s glittering walls. Glass shatters. Explosions erupt. The Emerald Vault heaves to a sudden and disconcerting stop.
This was not your intended destination. You look out from the barge windows and see a beach of pure white sand stretching out before you. Crystalline vultures circle high above and albino crabs skitter this way and that.
Beyond the beach is a shining woodland brimming with vitality. The longer one peers into the sparkling forest the more colors they divine. Leaves glimmer, roots undulate, the soil murmurs. Even from this distance the sense of life is overwhelming.
About The Forest Primordia:
The Forest Primordia is an adventure module designed for Troika!, the preeminent science-fantasy RPG system amongst the humpbacked skies.
Players become Dreamscar Knights, Amnesiac Aristocrats, Living Labs, or one of the eight other unique Backgrounds to try and make (or lose) their way through the strange and deadly Forest-Sphere.
The adventure has a variety of random tables to add spice and intrigue to the adventure’s three main locales: the Forest itself, the Deconstructed Ziggurat, and the Village That Eats Its God Every Night. NPCs with their own motivations, vices, and virtues inject the scenario with surprises for the GM and players alike.
Stepping into a weirder world has never been easier.
