Learn MoreYou have been rotting in this dungeon for days. Many in these cells have been here for much longer.
The region is devolving into chaos and the gaoler has been unable to administer the justice that each of you must face. In hushed tones, you have heard rumors that members of the Protectorate have begun to desert rather than adhere to their oaths of service to House Jenulane. Food and water have only been given intermittently, and your waste buckets are overflowing. All you can do is wait.
About Prisoners of Tower Jenulane:
Prisoners of Tower Jenulane is a DCC RPG compatible prison break encounter for 6-12 characters levels 0-1. It will take 2-3 hours to complete. This will be a difficult encounter for the players and their PCs. It will require a combination of clever thinking, daring deeds, and a lot of luck. It is a dungeon designed to hold them in, after all.
Having a copy of The Protectorate of Jenulane and/or the Stennard Character Creation Guide can enrich the experience, but are not essential to running this encounter. Instead, this encounter can be placed beneath any tower or gaol.
Stennard is a grimdark horror, survival setting and this adventure makes reference to some brutal forms of punishment like branding and maiming. It is recommended for mature audiences.
This zine was developed for use with Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG by Goodman Games.
