The Equinox is nigh!
The Fae Court is in turmoil! The High Queen of the Fae has decreed that all her subjects must turn their faces from Seelie to Unseelie. How will you embrace or resist this Season of Change?
About the Game:
In this storytelling game for 1-6 players, you'll use Tarot cards and six-sided dice to create fae characters and bring them on adventures!
Will you be a messenger entrusted with precious goods, traversing a troubled terrain? Or will you take the opportunity to revenge yourself against the mage who brought your family low? Perhaps you will join the hunt for -- or the competition to be declared -- the High King's next heir!
This rules-light game offers increasing complexity that can be adjusted to players' preferences. Everyone gets a turn being the main Storyteller as characters collaborate, compete and sometimes enter into combat in order to achieve their goals. Detailed Tables help both new and experienced Tarot readers guide the story and find inspiration in both card meaning and associated game mechanics, while gaining deeper insight into the practice and learning of Tarot.
Only one thing is certain when the Season ends: you will never be the same.
With beautiful illustrations from Art Nouveau masters including Alphonse Mucha, Arthur Rackham, Elenore Abbott and Warwick Goble, this volume is a feast for the eyes as well as the imagination and spirit.
