What do you do? Read it, of course. This is an OSR-style zine of RPG goodies rendered in a highly visual style. Within these 24 ooze-soaked pages you'll find magic swords that make cuts no one can heal, monsters that shoot gold pieces, black knights, catgirls, chainmail chicks, and evil temples!

Inspired by games such as Labyrinth Lord, The Black Hack, and Swords & Wizardry White Box.

Issue 7: 

His rowan pipe of smoking still smoking, the wizard oozes out of a portal to Hell, his mission complete. Now to towel off and read the latest Black Pudding zine!

In this glorpy issue is a small assortment of character classes, such as the eyeball, as well as a few new monsters, such as the incredibly handsome grave crusader. Following that… a gazetteer of the world of Yria, one of the many iterations of eternal Pan-Gea! The five cities of Yria are described, many random tables provided, and crude, X1-style blurbs suggesting other parts of the world. The mythos of twelve deities is also presented. All for your wondrous gaming endeavors.

Issue 6:

In this issue of Black Pudding you shall be thrilled to witness 24 more pages (well, 28 counting covers) of old school RPG goodness, this time in the form of toads, fat ladies, demon people, snowmen, and the character sheets and meatshields you've come to know and tolerate.

This issue's special feature is an 8 page dungeon exploration based on a lovely map by the wicked talent of Evlyn Moreau.

Issue 5: 

In this issue you'll see ipzees and orbii, you'll learn aromatic charms, you'll find weapons of magic, many strange people will offer their services for your adventuring party, and you will absolutely encounter some cackling ice witches.

Monsters, treasure, adventures, spells, hirelings, character sheet... everything but dice is included in this tasty concoction of gelatinized madness.

Issue 4: 

In this issue you get new classes, a double helping of Meatshields, and a 15 page OSR play book, complete with the basic classes, rules, and Black Pudding flavor to enhance or replace your current play book. For use with dice of funny sides. 

Issue 3: 

Herein you'll find monsters and magic and mayhem and swords-for-hire. Herein are a handful of new character classes, such as the Shield Maiden and the Star Wizard, along with terrible creatures such as the ork wargtrainer and hag's husband. Matt Hildebrand brings us a doppelgangery adventure and we learn how to make a proper crypt golem. It's hand drawn, it's digital, and a little bit low brow.

Issue 2: 

This issue features goodies from the depraved minds of Matt Hildebrand and Karl Stjernberg. Character classes such as the Blind Guardian and Mouldwarp, The Vault of the Whisperer, Mace of the Ape King, a bunch of jerk NPCs, some magic weapons, death spells, and more!
